How can you provide FREE IT consultation hours?

We wanted to be different and support Not-for-Profits, Non-Profits and Charities through the typical obstacles encountered with most IT services, which meant we had to shape our organization to meet those needs. We have invested in keeping our operational running costs as low as possible through grants, donations, volunteers, remote working, and in-house technology solutions and selecting a specific focus on communication technologies.

Donated IT Services Program

GenerosIT runs a volunteer-powered IT service that supports registered Not-for-Profits, Non-Profits, and Charities with free IT consultancy for IT communication technologies, including equipment selection, equipment management, web hosting, email, website development, database and infrastructure engineering, newsletters, knowledge centres, learning platforms, and PBX or IP phones.

You will be connected with a senior member who will follow along and get to know you and your team. You can schedule a meeting via Google Meets, a free in-browser, no-install meeting solution, to see each other's faces for deep discussions, or you can request ad-hoc help from our volunteer-powered Discord community, a free in-browser, no-install messenger solution popular in Not-for-Profit communities.

Volunteer-2-Reference Program

GenerosIT is actively seeking IT consultants in training who are willing to donate their time. In return, you will receive training on the skillsets to provide IT support by senior IT volunteers and non-biased, professionally packaged performance reviews and job references, which can be a valuable asset as you enter the job market. This review will be based on the feedback from the Not-for-Profits, Non-Profits, and Charities you support, as well as a summary of your work.
